It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Donald Farrah of Sarnia, Ontario at the age of 83. After battling Covid-19 he passed away on the 27th of March.
Predeceased by his daughter Laura Ann (1999), mother and father Adele (nee Saddy) and Joseph (Joe), brothers Joe, Irvin, and Leon. He is survived by sister-in-law Delores Farrah (Leon) and several nieces and nephews.
Don was an avid fan of the Maple Leafs, Red Sox, and Peyton Manning of the Denver Broncos, but his real idol was Ted Williams, the legendary baseball player. Don loved baseball and was a great hitter in his younger days. He loved everything to do with ships and could identify them on sight. His first love was golf and he scored a hole in one three times over his lifetime. He was so very proud of that!
Don was previously employed at The Car Club of London, was General Manager of Wharncliffe Chrysler of London, as well as the owner of the Rib Cage Franchises. Several years ago he lived in Sterling Heights, MI, and was the owner of East Town Furniture. Don thoroughly enjoyed the time he lived in Mooretown, especially the karaoke parties.
Lovingly remembered by friend, Susan West. Affectionately remembered by friend, Naiffie Harris Hindi.
Many thanks to Doctors and Nurses of the ICU at Bluewater Health for their excellent care. A special thank you to Perry Lawrence of Sarnia for all the times you were there to lend a helping hand. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
