Obituary

We are saddened to announce the passing of our brother Stan Burlingham in his 72nd year at Bluewater Health in Sarnia on Saturday, March 13th, 2021.

Stan was the loved husband of the late Irene Burlingham (1999). Stan was born to the late Frank(1996) & Lorraine (2007) Burlingham. and was the loved brother of Mary Lynne Deschamps (Leo), Judy Mallette (Ray 2017), Rose Chalmers (Ray), Susan DiBrita (Ray), Cathy Coates (Tom), Vince Burlingham ( Cynthia 2018), Thelma McEwen (Lorne), Pat Pinsonneault (2019) (Ivon)(2020), Frank (2009), and twin Brother Dan(2010). Stan is predeceased by his dear friend Beth Lucas (2019).

Stan will be missed by his extended family, Judy Saunders (Steve), Crystal Anderson (Rob), and Dennis McMahon (Chantelle).

A hands-on man, a mister fix-it, a hard worker, a jack of all trades, a mechanic through the love of cars, and a cowboy at heart. Stan was generous with what he had and even in death, he continues to give through the gift of sight through organ donation. Stan’s wish was that we do simple acts of kindness to those in need in his memory. Stan loved his family and took great pride in loving his family and working hard.

The family would like to thank, Dr. Kim, Dr. Crombeem, Dr. LaFrenier and nurses at Bluewater Health for their compassionate care.

A memorial service is planned for a later date. Family and friends continue to remember Stan as a loving and caring man, always available to give and serve others in need.

Arrangements are entrusted to Gilpin Funeral Chapel, 123 King Street East, in Forest, 519-786-4964. Please leave a memory or condolence online at www.GilpinFuneralChapel.com
