Carolyn Phyllis Rundle of Thedford, formerly of Arkona, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 8, 2021, at the age of 86.

Much loved mom of Chris & Ann Rundle, Carolyn raised her family with her parents in Arkona. Carrie's family grew with the addition of her grandchildren, Lainh & Katie, Melissa & Gentry, Graham & Julia, Anastasia, great-grandchildren, William, Anakin, and one great expectation, Duncan.

Carrie is predeceased by her parents Charlie and Elma Johnson, both predeceased in 1983 and will be missed by her many extended family and friends from the Country Manor.

Carrie spent many years working in retail at Simpson Sears, and the Eaton's Department Store before joining Bell Canada where she worked days while attending night school and earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree, prior to becoming an English as a Second Language Teacher. A woman who loved to travel, Carrie loved music, ranging from opera to classical, and possessed a musical talent that offered her the opportunity to travel and sing in a Welsh choir.

Carrie has enjoyed her last few years at the Country Manor in Thedford making friends and enjoying the gardens around her. A special love of Carrie's was always enjoying her beautiful felines.

A visitation will take place on Friday, March 12, from 2-5 pm at Gilpin Funeral Chapel in Forest, followed by a graveside service on Saturday, March 13, at 1 pm, at the Arkona Cemetery with Linda Dow officiating.
