It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Davis (nee Armstrong) of Watford at the age of 70 years old.
Marilyn will be missed by her husband of 47 years, George Davis, and by her children Karen (Brad) and Warren. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Brodie, Sierra, Aubrey and Wyatt and her sister Janet (Paul). Marilyn is predeceased by parents Bob and Ethel Armstrong, brother Bob, and sisters Marjorie and Betty.
Although Marilyn held several types of jobs throughout her life, her career of choice was industrial sewing. She enjoyed many years at both Tender Tootsies and Vaughan Custom Sports.
One of Marilyn's favourite things to do was chat on the phone with family and friends. She could always be found listening to the oldies or country music at home or at one of the country jamborees in the area. She loved to go camping in the trailer or go dancing with George on Saturday nights. Later in life, she enjoyed watching crime and game shows on tv while relaxing on her loveseat covered in her blanket.
A service will take place at a later date. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Arrangements are entrusted to Gilpin Funeral Chapel, 123 King Street East in Forest. 519-786-4964. Please leave a memory or condolence online at www.GilpinFuneralChapel.com
