Jennet Margaret Leslie of Parkhill passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at The Country Terrace Long Term Facility in Komoka, Ontario, at the age of 87.

"Best Girl" of Jack for 68 years, together Jack & Jennet raised their family in Parkhill of John (Janice) Leslie, Laura (Glen) Peden, Joanne (Paul) Steeper, James (Victoria) Leslie, and Lisa (Jose) Garcia. Jennet is predeceased by her daughter-in-law Sam Leslie.

Jennet leaves a legacy of love in her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she took great pride and joy in.

Raised in a large family with 9 siblings, Jennet will be missed by her sister Ida Hart, and sister in laws Brenda and Wilda Locke, and is predeceased by her parents Arlie & Laura Locke, and her siblings, Lillian (Percy) Bonneville, Arthur (Betty) Locke, Eva (Norman) Dunn, Harry (Sue) Locke, Greta (Norville) Horan, Harvey Locke, Arlie Locke, and brother in law Archie Hart.

Beloved sister in law of Ann & Brian Thompson, Jennet is predeceased by brother in law Alec Leslie, and in-laws Robert & Susan Leslie. Jennet will be dearly missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

Jennet was an amazing cook, with her apple pie, chicken and dumplings, and fresh homemade bread being special dishes prepared for her family. Jennet loved to entertain, and was an extrovert at heart, loving being around people and serving those in need. A bounty of memories was created outdoors and around the dinner table for Jennet's large family.

Sewing was a talent Jennet possessed, making clothing, with or without a pattern on hand and her beautiful quilts. Photography was a special interest; Jennet took joy in capturing family memories and images of nature's beauty from behind the lens.

A celebration of Jennet's life will take place at a later date with inurnment taking place at the Parkhill Cemetery.
Donations are appreciated to the Country Terrace Life Enrichment Program. Jennet's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Country Terrace in Komoka as well as the staff at the Geriatric Behavioural Unit at London Health Science Centre for their care and compassion.

Arrangements are entrusted to M.Box & Son Funeral, 183 Broad Street in Parkhill. Please leave a memory or condolence online at
