Glynn Anthony McGee of Parkhill, passed away unexpectantly at home on Monday, December 28, 2020, at the age of 59.
Glynn was the loved husband and best friend of Bonnie whom he shared his life with for over 35 years. Together Glynn and Bonnie raised their family, a family that grew to include, John & Jennifer Gray, Melissa Gray (Youness), and Glynn & Melissa McGee.
Glynn was extremely proud to be called Grandpa by his Grandchildren; Jeremy, Seth, Dalton, Alexis and Bryce. Seen by him as his greatest gifts.
The eldest brother in the McGee family, Glynn will be dearly missed by his siblings, Ann Marie & Doug Beaudoin, Debbie & Marty Kelders, Theresa Simpson, Larry McGee, Dave McGee (Brenda), Shawn McGee, Kevin McGee (Wendy), and Jeff & Cathy McGee. The loved brother in law to Laurie Bowman, Janice & Mark Wilds, and Donald & Diane Bowman.
Glynn will be missed by his many, nieces, nephews, and extended family, he is predeceased by his parents Lawrence (2015) & Betty McGee (2012), and brother-in-law Bob Simpson.
Dearly missed by his closest friend, Allan VanMassenhoven, and his travel buddies Sandra & Kevin Mathers.
Glynn was known for his dry and witty sense of humour, always joking and trying to get a rise out of his kids. A generous man with his love as well as material possessions, Glynn was aware of the needs around him, and did his best to fill them, never asking for anything in return. A hard worker, Glynn took pride in working at the family business started by his parents in 1968. Achieving sales awards annually, by supplying local farmers with seed.
Glynn always looked forward to Christmas, a time to spoil his children and grandchildren, showering them with gifts and enjoying seeing and listening to the little ones squeal with delight throughout the day.
Glynn's family understands that the visitation and service under normal conditions would be attended by his many many family and friends but due to the current covid restrictions a public visitation and service will not take place.
