Obituary

Carol Ann McCullough of Forest died peacefully at home on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at the age of 80.

Carol was the loved wife of the late Victor McCullough and will be missed by her family, Michael & Barb, Debbie, Scott and Nancy (predeceased), Kenny, Cheryl, Sue-Ann, Kim & Paul, Kara, Lisa, and is predeceased by her daughter in law Nancy.

The much-loved grandmother to Kirsten, Cara, Lisa, Niccolo, Danielo, Christopher, Adam, Mave, Kayleigh, Eric, Dana, Matthew, James, Andrew, Stacey, Tyler, and one on the way, as well as one great-granddaughter, Olivia.

Carol is lovingly remembered by her siblings Ronnie & Jerry, brother in law Dougie, and is predeceased by her siblings Billy, Tootsie and Colleen. Always remembered with a gentle smile and a kind heart by Carol's many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Working for many years as a medical secretary, Carol found her greatest joy in her family; but not just her own family. Carol's family went well beyond her own household, and she was known to take care of struggling kids in the area and making sure that visitors felt loved. Family and friends continue to remember Carol for her kindness, caring, and welcoming spirit.

I have so so many fond memories of Carol (Ma, as like to call her). Always a safe harbour when a scared, naive teen would show up on her door step. So very proud of all her children, biological and others. Walking into her home always gave you a special feeling, you were special cause you weren't hers, she treated all the tag alongs the same... I remember Sue and I getting in late one night, my mother was out of town and Sue begged me to sleep over so she wouldn't be grounded... Well that failed miserably, all that happend was that Carol grounded me right along with Sue.
