Cam (Robert Cameron) Ross of Sarnia went home to his Lord and Saviour on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Bluewater Health in Sarnia at the age of 65.

Cam was cared for and cherished by his wife Linda and is loving missed by his children, Cassey, Lance, and Cody Ross, and his step-grandchildren Blake & Preston Pardy. Cam is remembered fondly by his close friends, Paul & Helen Debruin.

The youngest in a family of four, Cam grew up with his siblings Shirley Huctwith, Doug Ross, and Connie (Bob) Jamieson and is predeceased by his parents John and Heather Ross.

Cam's joy was obvious as he praised his Lord Jesus Christ, resting in the peace of his salvation. Seeing his children grow and succeed was an added comfort for Cam as he took great pride in each of his kids.

Three words that describe Cam are simply "GO LEAFS GO", an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan, Cam also enjoyed supporting his local Petrolia Jets and Sarnia Sting teams.

A special Thank You to the Palliative Care Team and the Local Health Integration Network, as well as Pastor Tim Gibb, our church family, and all of Cam's friends that supported him during the past few years. Donations to St. Joseph's Hospice in Sarnia are appreciated in Cam's name.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, November 6, 2020, at 11 am, at Bethel Pentecostal Church, followed by a private family graveside service at Beechwood Cemetery in Forest, with Pastor Tim Gibb officiating.

Dear Cassey,Lance,Cody and your Mother, Tim, Michael and Krystal Butler send our heartfelt empathy and prayers to you all in the loss of your dear Dad. We were saddened to hear, as your Dad was well loved by anyone who knew him and always greeted you with a big smile and a kind word. We will always think of him fondly and always with that big smile(especially at all the lacrosse games). Cherish your own memories and the unconditional love and pride he had for each of you.
With love, Tim, Krystal and Michael Butler

I will miss you Uncle Cam. I have some great memories to cherish. The earliest ones would be shooting pucks in Grandma's basement. One of the best was playing hockey with you, in Church league tournaments. Both Mike & Chris hold that memory dear as well. More recently I was fortunate to share some phone calls during the playoffs this fall. Those were great conversations that covered a lot of hockey trivia and history. Thank you for the memories and the love. And as always, Go Leafs Go ! Love Scott

I met my friend 30 years ago officiating men’s hockey. There was no bigger Leaf fan and Sting fan on the planet. One of my fondest memories is when we hosted a 55 team house league tournament knowing we were not the most organized pair to attempt this. But we pulled it off. We coached against each other and with each other fo many years. Our thoughts and prayers to the Ross family.

So sorry to hear about Cam's passing. However, it's wonderful that he's with the Lord and we can ask for nothing better than to join him some day. The Curts' family.
