Gail Patricia Cameron passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at the age of 69.
Gail is lovingly remembered by her son, Walter Cameron, daughter, Carla (Derek) Rocca, beloved (Nannie's girl) granddaughter Brooke, grandsons Louie, and Ethan and great-grandson Emmett as well as many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Gail is survived by her loving brother Eric Cotton, and is predeceased by her siblings, Lewis Cotton, William Cotton, Rosealie Connors, Sherri Wiegers, Lucile Cotton, and Elizabeth Russell.
Gail was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia to Lewis and Winnifred (Damon) Cotton. After attending Trenton high school, Gail went on to community college where she received her administrative courses. After raising her children she went to work at Glen Haven Manor for 19 years where she met a truly amazing bunch of friends that would last a lifetime.
Gail moved to Ontario in 2005 to be close to her family. She met many people who's lives she touched, who will remember Gail as a caring, loyal, down to earth friend, now a guardian angel.
Gail could be found for the better part of a decade sending Louie, Emilie, and Bianelle off to school before taking 4 dogs for their walks. Gail will be missed by her dear friends from Nova Scotia, Deborah, Anderson, Joyce Wooly, and Moe & Helen Roper and her Tops gang from here in Ontario. Gail loved spending time with her Bible study dear friends, and coffee buddy Ethel and wonderful extended family, including her "second daughter" Johanne; Luc, Emilie, and Bianelle as well as her closes friends Arean, Patricia, Judy, and Muriel.
Gail loved her fur babies, Chopper and Brit will always remember the love she showed them and the countless hours on the porch together. Gail's story still had so much to live out, we look forward to sharing many stories in the future until we meet again our beautiful blond bombshell.
Donations may be made in Gail's memory to the Sarnia Animal Shelter. Arrangements are entrusted to Gilpin Funeral Chapel, 123 King Street East in Forest, 519-786-4964. Please leave a memory or condolence online at www.GilpinFuneralChapel.com
