Barbara Albini (Carter) of Sylvan, formerly of Port Franks, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2020, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital at the age of 71.
Best friend and partner of Leo Veroude for 10 years, Barb is deeply missed by her daughter Julia Dennis of Vancouver and mother of Dean Dennis of London, also predeceased by their father Steven Dennis. Barb leaves behind her four-legged pals, her dog, Derek, and her kitten, Darla; Barb is also predeceased by Roger Albini and will be missed by extended family, friends, and neighbours.
Barb loved her iris's that bloomed in the front yard in her favourite colour purple. Listening to the music of Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé, and the tunes from Fresh FM radio out of London. Barb could be found dancing at home, occasionally even with her dog Derek as her partner. A woman with an easy-going personality, Barb enjoyed simple pleasures, a good laugh, and the contentment of her loving pets.
A sincere thank you is extended to the paramedics and staff at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital for their stellar and sincere care throughout the heart health issues Barb endured. In honour of Barb's love of animals, donations are appreciated in her name to the Sarnia Humane Society. There will be a celebration of life to be determined at a later date.
