Orville Ottis Truemner of Exeter died peacefully on Friday, January 24, 2020, at Exeter Villa. The beloved wife and best friend of Rena for 70 years, together they raised their only daughter Nancy (Keith) Snyder in Grand Bend.
Orville will be missed by his brother Graham (Maxine) Truemner and his inlaws in the Pickering family and is predeceased by his parents and siblings Florence (Gordon) McLeod and Lyle Truemner.
A hard-working man, Orville spent his life trucking, hauling heavy loads including gravel and equipment, and was always at home in time for supper. A man of many talents, Orville was a woodworker and artist, building projects like rocking chairs and decan's benches, or painting butterflies and birds. Many of Orville's works of art could be seen at local craft shows and are proudly displayed in his home.
A private family memorial is planned at the Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Mark Isaac officiating. Donations are appreciated in Orville's name to the charity of choice.
