Frank Ernest Loscombe of Grand Bend, passed away peacefully at Highview Residences in London on November 28, 2019, in his 92nd year.

Frank was the loved husband of Mary (2008), together they shared their lives for over 35 years. Loving father of Jolyn (Glenn) Lawrenson, Frances (Bill) Waterman, and Dawn (Jeff) Snell. Frank leaves a legacy in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Keri (Frank), Kayla, Geoffrey, Megan (Matt), Matt (Sarah), Brad (Jen), Daevlynne, Reggie, Serenity, Chloe, Linkin, Kennedy Rose, Jude, Liam, Owen, and Oliver.

Frank was the oldest of three siblings and will be missed by his sister Gail (Bill) Gushue. Frank is predeceased by his parents and brother Donald Loscombe. Also missed by his extended family, friends, golfing buddies, and neighbours.

Frank was a man of many loves including singing, cars, the Blue Jays, the Maple Leafs, visiting on the phone, playing pool, golfing and lunch at the Waltzing Weazel. Frank's work caused him to drive many miles, a pattern he continued long after his retirement from the Department of Highways. Driving long distances was nothing for Frank, even traveling to Ohio for his grand daughter's play was simply something he never had a second thought about. Frank's greatest love was his family and he took great pride in each of them.

A Celebration of life open house will take place on December 14, 2019 from 2pm - 6pm at 472 Emery Street East in London where everyone is welcomed to join and share memories. Interment will take place at Ingersoll Rural Cemetery at 11am weather permitting. Family and friends continue to remember and celebrate Frank's life, a force, an advocate for others and a generous philanthropic. Donations are appreciated in Frank's name to Lupus Ontario, or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Arrangements are entrusted to M.Box & Son Funeral Home, 183 Broad Street in Parkhill. Please leave a memory or condolence online at

Dennis & I have known Frank for years. Starting out in the Grand Bend United church, Frank was on the finance team when he talked me into being envelope secretary and then treasurer. He then supported me in the choir when I became music director. His endless solo's and The Christmas Song will be missed for sure.
Frank , I'm sure you're singing 'chestnuts roasting on an open fire' for Mary :)
We are thinking of Frank's family with Sympathy. He will be truly missed.

Frank truly enjoyed life with singing as one of his main passions. He sang for many years with the Huron Shores United Church choir, and helped me out personally by contributing his voice to our monthly sing-alongs at the Adult Centre in Grand Bend.
One of his favorite hangouts was the Waltzing Weasel in London, and his smiling face and good humour will be missed by the Weasel's staff.
Thanks for the good times and the memories, Frank, and no doubt you will be singing tenor in the angels' choir up in heaven.

Thkinking of Frank's family with sympathy at this time. I remember how much Frank enjoyed singing in the HSUC choir here in the Bend. We will miss his friendly smile too.

Our sincere condolences to family and friends. Uncle Frank had a wry wit and could see the humour in any situation. We always enjoyed our visits with him. He helped me get summer jobs at the MTO and I learned many things about work and life from him.
His genuine interest in our family was appreciated and he will be missed greatly.
Love from John, Mary, Justine, John, and Michael Walsh
