Tedball – William Charles of Thedford passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Bill was the loved son of Carl and Melba (Weston) Tedball. The eldest brother of Mark (Gloria) Tedball and Peggy (Mike) Wellington and the loved Uncle of Shyanne Tedball, Zachary Maedel and Kurtis Wellington. Bill is fondly remembered by his many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, friends, and neighbours.

Bill was an outdoor man in every way, whether he was farming, fishing or hunting, Bill was up for the task. Fishing back at the river, and hunting deer were his favourite activities, feeding his family and enjoying the time spent together, Bill was always dressed from head to toe in camo with his bright orange vest.

A service will take place on Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Pinehill Cemetery at 1pm with Rev. Dr. Christine O’Reilly officiating, where family and friends are welcomed, followed by a reception at the Thedford Royal Canadian Legion.

Donations are appreciated in Bill’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Bayshore VON. To our very special loved ones who have shown such love, compassion, and care, thank you could not be said enough. Your kindness has allowed for such special moments and memories.

Arrangements are entrusted to Gilpin Funeral Chapel, 123 King Street East in Forest. Please leave a memory or condolence online at

I will always remember Haywire . Bill and I delivering the London Free Press. Such good times. Or Bill coming to help with Mom. She always said he was like the son he never had. Lol. He was always there for family and friends, no matter what. Such a Beautiful soul. May he RIP and continue to catch many a deer. Such fond memories. My most sincere condoléances to the family and friends.

Dear Carl, Melba, Peggy and Mark:
Saddened to hear of Bill's passing. Prayers and thoughts to all of you with our deepest sympathy. Hugs your way. Mom (Phyllis) would be at the service if she was well enough to attend. Thedford and your home farm was always special to us all with such good memories and happy to hear that Bill was such an outdoors person. RIP Bill. Pat (Parker) Carpenter

Our deepest sympathy to the family and loved ones. It has been a difficult and painful journey for Billy and he is now at rest and free from pain. The hardest thing left is for those left behind because it is important to keep on living and keep his memories alive. As you go through the grieving process talk with each other and let them know how you feel, cry together, laugh together. Take one day at a time. Love in Christ. Linda & Ron Dow
