Only days away from her 95th birthday, June Isabella Wilson’s journey on this earth ended comfortably and peacefully on May 19, 2020.
June enjoyed all of the many things she did in this life. She loved working in her gardens, keeping a beautiful home, dancing, knitting sweaters, and sharing her many gifts with all of her family. June was among the first women in the community to start curling and loved playing the game for many years and was even a great fan of the game on TV. June’s family will always remember the meals that she would prepare for special occasions. Family was very important to her and they will always remember what a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandma she was.
June is fondly remembered by her children Connie (Alan ) Parsons and Ted (Barb) Wilson; her grandchildren, Wendy Smith (Dan Murphy), Valerie Smith, Mark Wilson (Nadine Wocks), and Chris (Kaleigh) Wilson: and great-grandchildren Finn Murphy, and Lennon Wilson. June will be missed by her sister, Shirley Hall and many nieces, nephews and cousins. June is predeceased by her parents Stanley & Olive Hilborn, her husband William E. Wilson, and her sister Olla Mooney.
Donations to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice in June’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
