Beierling, Gladys Irene (Isaac) – Peacefully with family by her side at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.
Gladys Beierling passed away at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Beierling (2003). Loving mother to Lola (Ken) Shannon, Lorna (2010) Murray Lagerwerf, Bill (Mary) Beierling, Gary (2010) Darlene Beierling, Patricia (2005) Walter Van Buel (2012), Barbara (Jim 1992) Walsh, Cathy (Wayne) Windsor, Debbie Beierling, Brian (Brenda) Beierling, Susan (Ted) Shephard, Tracy (Doug 2016) Windsor, Richard (Doreen) Beierling.
Proud Grandmother of 26 Grandchildren. 48 Great Grandchildren, 7 Great Great Grandchilren, and 1 Great Great Great Grandchild. Also survived by brother Gord (June) Isaac, Jean Isaac, in-laws Herb Beierling, Dorothy & Doug Stephen, Elmer & Helma Beierling as well as several nieces and nephews.
Gladys’ greatest pride came in raising her family with Lorne. Together they raised and supported their 12 children. Gladys was the glue that held the family together through the good and hard times. Mondays and Thursdays where known as radio bingo nights, a favourite past time, Gladys was often seen with a bingo dabber in hand.
The family would like to express their thankfulness to the amazing care given to their Mom, with special mention to the paramedics, fire dept. and Dr. Grushka of SMGH.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, September 30th from 4pm-8pm, and 1pm-2pm on October 1st with a service following at 2pm at M. Box & Son Funeral Chapel, 183 Broad St., Parkhill with Reverend Mark Isaac officiating. Interment to take place at Parkhill Cemetery.
