Phyllis had two great passions in her life, her family, which encompassed her children, Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren, as well as volunteering in her community.
Phyllis gave of herself in so many ways volunteering in community programs. But her greatest thrill, came while she was working alongside her second family - those at the Legion, which was her pride and joy.
Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Wednesday, June 14th from 7pm-9pm at the Gilpin Funeral Chapel in Forest. A Mass will be conducted on Thursday, June 15th at St. Christopher’s Parish, 68 Union St., Forest at 11am with Father Tom Donahue officiating.
The family cannot express enough, the above and beyond care that was given to their mother by Dr. Bill Buckton and the entire staff of North Lambton Lodge; this was appreciated in so many ways. The daily smiles, kindness and compassion did not go unnoticed and was a great comfort to Phyllis and her family.
